Bayt Al Hikma 2.0 is a revived, online, and modern version of the great library of Baghdad, the original Bayt Al Hikma, that served as a center for innovation, pluralistic thought, and scientific discovery during the last Golden Age.

Who is Ideas Beyond Borders?

Ideas Beyond Borders (IBB) works with people across the region toshare, translate, and promote ideas that foster pluralism, civil and human rights, science, civil discourse, critical thinking, and more with Arabic-speaking youth. IBB’s goal is to make previously inaccessible ideas and knowledge accessible throughout the region. IBB is a New York-based registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and was founded in 2017 by Faisal al Mutar, an Iraqi and former refugee living in the United States.
